When you are buying new supplies, investing in capital items or getting some major work done on machinery or properties never rely on one quote. Always look at the first quote as a bench mark and get at least two others.
You now have 3 quotes, ensure they are quoting on the same brief and you will always get a better price. It’s always good practice to let each supplier know that you are obtaining additional quotes so they sharpen their prices at the same time.
